VALET MANAGER

Location: Orlando, Florida

Overview:

Join our team at Orlando International Airport (MCO) as a Valet Manager, overseeing the premier valet parking service catering to airport patrons and the Hyatt Hotel located inside the airport terminal. As the Valet Manager, you will be the management representative of the valet operation, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth operations. This role reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, requiring leadership skills, operational knowledge, and dedication to providing top-tier service.

The Valet Manager will supervise over 100 employees at the Hyatt hotel as well as curbside parking at MCO. With up to 400 vehicles parked per day, this role is integral to the seamless flow of operations. Approximately two-thirds of the job is focused on Traffic Directorate responsibilities, including guiding customers and managing traffic flow, while one-third is dedicated to valet parking operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer service standards are met in a professional manner.

  • Monitor and enforce safe driving standards among valet personnel.

  • Oversee entry and exit gates at all access points.

  • Process transactions smoothly and efficiently.

  • Coordinate training schedules for new hires and manage uniform orders.

  • Ensure daily bank deposits are completed.

  • Maintain adequate staffing levels for all shifts.

  • Communicate with Company management, Hyatt Hotel staff, and airport authorities.

  • Handle customer complaints and claims promptly.

  • Organize and staff for events and peak times.

  • Oversee Traffic Directors and liaise with the corporate office for reporting and communication.

  • Represent the company in marketing initiatives within the local market.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred two years' experience in parking operations.

  • Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Valid Driver’s License.
